Welcome To Edge Wrestling
Edge Wrestling is the Jenison Wrestling Program's club team. Edge Wrestling is a derivative of the Jenison Wrestling booster club and was created to offer extra opportunities for Jenison Wrestlers. Edge Wrestling offers camps, takedown club and travel teams to wrestlers in the off-season. Our mission is to offer high quality training and a positive atmosphere for our wrestlers during the off-season.
Edge Camps
Periodically Edge Wrestling hosts camps with guest clinicians. We have had fall clinics, summer takedown camps and spring freestyle camps. Our goal for these camps is to keep a steady flow of advanced and cutting edge techniques being introduced in our room from some of the best clinicians we can find.
Edge Takedown Club
The Edge Takedown Club meets once a week to drill takedowns and wrestle live takedown matches. The focus is on a high repetition drilling philosophy in which the wrestlers log their total takedowns each session.
Travel Teams
Recently West Michigan has given birth to a huge increase in off-season team dual opportunities. Our program can only benefit from extra competition.
Guest Clinicians
Guest clinicians add a lot to our program. Guest clinicians often offer advanced cutting edge technique and a fresh perspective and/or teaching style. Guest clinicians can also be a great break in routine for our wrestlers during the off-season. Guest clinicans can come in for us during our camps or just fill in for us during regular scheduled practices and Takedown Club.
